Law In Transition
Volume 1 · Issue 1 · April 2027
Contemporary Perspectives on Law, Policy, Innovation and Practice
Law is evolving alongside profound changes in technology, institutions, markets, society and professional practice. LORE's inaugural issue examines these transitions through original legal scholarship, comparative perspectives, policy analysis and practice-focused research.
Law in Transition examines how legal systems respond to rapidly changing technological, economic, social and institutional environments. The issue brings together scholarship that considers not only what the law is, but how it is developing, how different jurisdictions are responding, and what these developments mean for institutions, businesses, professionals and society.
Contributions span doctrinal, comparative, interdisciplinary and practice-oriented perspectives, reflecting LORE's commitment to connecting rigorous legal scholarship with contemporary legal challenges.

A Note from the Editor-in-Chief

Law rarely changes in isolation. It evolves alongside transformations in society, technology, institutions and professional practice. With its inaugural issue, LORE begins a continuing conversation about those changes and the ideas shaping their development.
Our aim is to create a forum in which rigorous scholarship can engage with contemporary legal questions while remaining accessible to academics, practitioners, policymakers and emerging scholars across jurisdictions.
